Apple started the war with the “damning” curse of the new MacBook Pro, but so far has only partially won

Although some users were lucky - their problem disappeared completely

A week ago, we reported that the latest 16-inch MacBook Pro did not escape the “curse” of previous models. In particular, many users complain about various sound problems. We suggested that this is a software problem that Apple will solve.

The very next day, it became known that the Cupertino giant admitted that there was a problem and confirmed that it had a software nature, therefore service centers were forbidden to try to repair such mobile PCs.

And now, Apple has released an update for macOS that solves the problem. But not completely. Those who encounter problems confirm that updating macOS Catalina 10.15.2 eliminates some of them. More precisely, for some users, the problem completely disappeared after the update, but for others the situation got better, but strange “sniffing” sounds still appear sometimes.

Moreover, there is no uniformity here: for some users, sounds disappeared from some applications, but remained in others, and for some, sounds remained everywhere, but began to appear less often and by themselves became quieter.

However, Apple itself indicates that several updates are needed to solve the problem.
